As you enter the Whistler area from the South on Highway 99, Whistler Creekside will be the first sign of commercial activity, and will be the first opportunity to get on the mountain.
Whistler Creekside is located approximately 7 kilometers (4 miles) from the Whistler Village area. Guests staying at Creekside can access the Village by vehicle, town bus, or by bicycle during the summer.
Creekside also has its own gondola that whisks guests up the mountain where they can access the Big Red chairlift leading to the Roundhouse Lodge. From here, guests have access to both Whistler and Blackcomb mountains thanks to the newly opened Peak to Peak Gondola.
Whistler's Creekside has a large selection of accommodation options to suit everyone's budget and preferences. Options here range from a healthy selection of vacation rentals, hotels, and a hostel. Privately owned vacation rentals in this area provide guests with kitchens enabling them to cook their own meals, and more space to comfortably stay together. In most cases, owner-direct vacation rentals provide the best combination of luxury and value.
Like any area in Whistler, the primary activity most guests will be participating in is skiing. Creekside features winter mountain access through its gondola which typically has much shorter lines than those in the Village. Conveniently, guests can also pick their pre-ordered discount lift tickets and equipment rentals directly at the Creekside base.
